You bunch of weirdos

Sort of suggestion i'd expect 13BR to come up with.

IF people die, let someone post a thread about them, let people post up thoughts and memories and even express sadness.

Post messages to the surviving family in the hope it might give some crumb of comfort for THEIR loss.

Then let it naturally slip down the page and off into the history of WHO. If it gets bumped then so being, but a false pinned 'in memory' thread is pathetic. If you wanna remember them, it wouldn't need to stay pinned, if it isn't pinned and it slips off the page, you didn't wanna remember them.

Get a grip you bunch of fannies

We never had a period of mourning for Bill, Sidney Oz.

Pretty sure he was getting on a bit back when WHO started. He used to post shitloads on here then suddenly stopped.

RIP Bill.

Re: The WHO obituaries thread.
Mike,

here's my idea to save WHO lives:

Big ad campaign with Bono as the front man Black and white, minimalist background:

"Everytime I click my fingers, a WHOer dies"

Then, and here's the clever part, we get gank to storm in a break all his fingers*

This should break the hex and rid us of the bad ju ju that we are currently suffering.

* and some toes, just to be thorough.

Should we divert a little of the Gavvy fund to help compensate all those who get offended by comments posted on the stiffie threads?

I have spent the morning arranging five key trusted and most importantly, young WHOers to be the official reporter of my demise.*

50 this year which, as we all know is 75 in WHO years and feeling more than a little bit mortal lately*

* Finding treading the line between showing respect to the departed but keeping it WHO is difficult. You Cunts?

Re: The WHO obituaries thread.
Would need a fair deal of restraint from some, but overall a corker.

Would probably need a "Whatever happened to..."" halfway house companion.

I remember many names, particularly from the night shift who just stopped posting and I often wondered what happened to them.

Some moved time zones and still post, some changed usernames, some did both, but there's still a fair few MIA.

Re: The WHO obituaries thread.
Great idea. I always find it a bit brutal and sad when an unpinned RIP thread starts dropping down and off the front page.
Enshrines those who have sadly passed on here in one thread.

Hope died a long time ago.

Entertaining football is but a distant memory.

Competent management of the club snuffed it a while ago, too.

This thing should be known as 'Mr Vexed's Hi Score Table' or 'Mr Vexed's Wall Of Grief' and should have links to the RIP threads for all the nice comments.
